Grays Harbor County Protects Bigfoot

Lincoln Elementary Hoquiam

Grays Harbor County has joined Whatcom County and Skamamia County in having protection for Bigfoot.

On April 5th, 2022, the Grays Harbor County Board of Commissioners signed a proclamation 22022-037 which declares Grays Harbor County “… a Sasquatch protection and refuge area”.

The proclamation was in response to Ms. Andrews’ fifth grade class at Lincoln Elementary School in Hoquiam, who wrote a letter stating their case why Grays Harbor should have a law protecting Bigfoot. An article in Aberdeen’s Daily World explains how the class was split on the existence of Bigfoot and has several great quotes from the 5th graders.
