In May of 1973, a man named Mariln Ayers recorded a strange howl outside of Puyallup, WA, after multiple witness had reported seeing a Bigfoot near a large gravel pit at the Old Pipe Line RD and 94th Ave East on the South Hill (
Today at 12199-12117 94th Ave E South Hill, WA 98373 approximately 47.146239, -122.304128).
The resulting recording has been heavy scrutinized and includes a train sounds in the background.
Puyallup, Washington is located in Pierce County, WA State’s county with the most BFRO reports.
While there are many other recordings of Washington State Bigfoot, the Puyallup Screamer has a certain ionic 1970s WA State vibe to it.
Everyone’s on drugs in Pierce county people have seen the lochness monster here too.
It was later confirmed that the sasquatch stepped on a lego.

If you go on 112th st like ur going to the south hill mall and take a right on 94th (farmers market on ur left), and go straight until right before 128th st and its on the right hand side of road
I lived in a house that was connected to that gravel pit from the time I was 5 yrs to 14 yrs old and I played in that gravel pit every day after school. Sometimes I would see patches of grass totally flattened as if a bear was laying on top of it or something. It was too big to be a deer or coyote (which I saw daily). I never heard any screams but sometimes at night id hear rocks banging around but the rocks werent thrown because there wasnt any clicks or clacks from the rock rolling or bouncing, it was like someone was holding rocks and banging them together super hard. It was too creepy to be in there at night time so i only went in during the daytime.
Gravel pit no longer present… i live off 116th and 94th ave. I have not seen or heard anything abnormal
The area is far too urban now for a large bipedal creature to live there. I currently live on S. Meridian St. just up the hill from the fairgrounds.
I have lived around that general area most of my life. I think people likely don’t know just how remote that place used to be, like before the mall was there. Everything was woods and fields.
I seen that Bigfoot in 1978’s at the railroad crossing . Just up that little winding road between 2 older homes with a homemade light pole between the homes. At that the time I was walking down that dark road from a house party to the railroad crossing. At the last 2 homes I turn left because I thought it was my buddies but standing behind a willow tree I seen a massive figure. I thought it was part of three so I leaned to my left and it did the same. Not being sure I leaned to the right and I could see his long hair down to the middle of its chest and I’ll never forget the super long arms. Scared to death I ran to the house with lights on and could hear a large dog in the back. Before I could make it to the front window cause I was going to jump through it, it had viciously killed the dog. So scared I turned and ran down the windy pitch black road thinking all alone he was going to get me. I knew it was behind me and made it to my mustang along hearing objects being thrown my way. I NEVER spoke to anyone one about it till 2021 when my girlfriend bought a keep at the deal ship and we drove thru that area and caused me to get physically sick.
