Washington boosts a dozen Bigfoot themed conferences and public museum exhibits a year, county ordinances protecting Bigfoot, and has flirted with Bigfoot-themed legislation in Olympia. Ryan Leisinger has been a Washington State resident since he was 10 years old and a Bigfoot Enthusiast for several years longer than that. In 2013, Ryan had the idea to build a website localized to Bigfoot activity, events, culture and history in Washington State. Ryan launched www.washingtonbigfoot.com and starting building a community of individuals interested in Washington’s favorite cryptid.

Ryan is the father of 3 boys and works for the State of Washington in Information Technology. He lives in Olympia and enjoys camping, hiking and cooking.
