Bigfoot sighting
I am not crazy, I swear.
Yesterday on the Chehalis trail, I saw a large ape-like figure above me in the elevated portion of the trail past 26th during my evening walk. It was hairy and left a lingering smell similar to papaya. I saw it only for a few seconds before it ran deeper into the wooded area. It was gone before I could pull up my phone and call the police. At this point, I don’t even know if I’ll report it to them because I would look insane and they wouldn’t believe me. Besides, what would they be able to do?
Does anyone have any advice on what to do now? I kind of want to track it down but TBH I do not want to get hurt or anything like that.

Easy to assume this report was North of 26th, as South of 26th has been bulldozed and filled with housing.
There isn’t a whole lot of forested area near there. The “smell similar to papaya” is an interesting details.
