Hello! Around September of 2018 I was driving with my girlfriend in Granite Falls, down Burn Rd. Off of the Mountain loop. My window was down and I was going approx. 45 mph, I will never forget the growling roar and the giant figure I saw dash towards my car and off into the woods on the passenger side. My chest dropped. It was around 11pm but I saw a very y’all and dark figure, at the time I told my girlfriend it was a warewolf, I just moved here. After doing some random research today months later I believe it was a Bigfoot. The growl made my chest thunder and I was not able to drive after I sped up way ahead of the monstorous creature that had just pummeled towards my car at a lightening speed. It was inanely fast, all I saw in my rear view was a giant dark figure dash behind by car.
Mountain Loop Road and Granite Falls is no stranger to Bigfoot reports.
This article from 2000 tells of a man’s encounter near Iron Mountain rock quarry and references Bigfoot expert Cliff Crook, who mentions multiple reports in the area going back to the 1970s.
Granite Falls is a city in Snohomish County. Located between the Pilchuck and Stillaguamish rivers in the western foothills of the Cascade Range, the city is named for a waterfall on the river that is north of downtown on the Mountain Loop Highway.
I personally have had two encounters with big foot, one in January 1970 and another in August 1974. Both times I was scared to near death. My encounter in August of 1974 lasted for almost 30 minutes. No one believed me , yet my brother who lives in Granit Falls saw him also, and then he believed me.
I believe you! I live off of Mountain loop Hwy about 8 miles up from the bridge at the falls. There is nothing but forest and
Green Mountain. Pass my property line.many many nights we hear sounds(calls like) and trees crackling sounds and even. Several times I know I saw a dark figure standing next to a tree then just vanished after stepping behind a tree. I’ve never felt fearful when ever any of these has happened. My personal feeling is that they just want their privacy and left alone as much as we do from them. And they know who they should worry about and who they can trust not to want to hurt them. (Maybe a different dimensions ) they can go to .
I live on green mountain..the base. I believe all above as camping at Black Creek I heard a sound that no animals in our forest could make. I’ve spent my life running around the forest as a kid and as an adult. Never have I heard this sound. Just recently a friend heard the same sound on green mountain road about 2 1/2 miles up . At the Y. ..
Masonic park off the mountain loop highway This was in the eighties We were about 5 miles back on the Trout Lake mainline We stopped at Mud LakeWe heard the sound Really echoed off the Canyon walls Scared the hell out of both of us No animal sounds like that
I am pretty sure I saw Bigfoot today. I was out hiking and saw a very tall creature. That disappeared over a hill. It was too big to be human and was definitely only standing on 2 feet.
We may have seen a footprint of… something. I’ll leave out speculation and give just the facts. My friend and I were on our way to Monte Cristo mines when we had to stop just before Coal Creek campgrounds because the road was closed due to snow. We decided to walk but changed our route to the ice caves since it was closer. On our way, we were getting a giggle out of all the different tracks we were seeing in the snow; snow shoes, mukluks, different sized dog prints, some large cat prints and generally having a good time speculating what kind of people were here on the hwy just before us. I usually enjoy running on my hikes and it was COLD so I decided to run ahead a bit. What I found makes me wonder if this was a good idea at all…. on the hwy just before the split to the ice caves teail and the parking lot which was closed I stopped abruptly. With a chuckle, I call out to my friend. Surely, I just found something that had to be a joke – had to be man-made. But the longer I looked at it, the less this explanation made sense…. it was a foot print. Huge. Unlike anything I’d expect to see from any existing animal… it looked like a chicken foot with forward facing toes and large claws. The toes were close together. The print itself was very big – I could have fit both of my boots inside the print. We sort of laughed and shrugged it off until we continued down the trail. We had a great time on our way to the ice caves and I continued to see these deeeeeep footprints – perhaps somebody heavy set who continued to fall through the snow. The weirdest thing about these prints is they were so deep, they glowed blue in the light, the same color blue the ice caves have. Not every print there was blue, just these super deep ones. Well it was raining and we were very wet. There was enough snow on the trail that we couldn’t see it anymore so we turned around to head back. Everything was smooth. We got back to the hwy which was still snowed over and I get this weird feeling – the Forrest is closing in on us. I had to stop and look around. Everything was eerily quiet. I found myself fixated looking at the west side peak of the big four – there was a lone evergreen tree on top of the mountain before a patch of landslide. For some reason I couldn’t shake this feeling that something was watching us right up there. I couldn’t see anything, but I was suddenly very, very cold. We left safely after passing a community group of elders going on their own hike through the wilderness. In the car, we continued to talk about the possibilities of what we just saw. I believe this is not Bigfoot. I do however believe there is something in our National Forrests that is truly, truly horrifying. Something BIG.
