Sent to the Washington Bigfoot FaceBook page and described as “Several sets of tracks
Very unusual” found near the Swift Reservior south of Mt St Helens.
The Swift Reservoir is a reservoir on the Lewis River located in Skamania County.
Some thing very pedestrian about the walk, I would expect a more Sasquatch-y gait and less like Carl, the guy who collects the shopping carts at the grocery store.

A previous post dug a bit into the idea that the local bigfoot that lived around Mt. St. Helens might have may have been killed in the 1980 eruption, well a thread on FaceBook took it a bit further, with information about multiple reports of sightings of bigfoot bodies being removed by those reacting to the disaster.
The first account is from Who’s Watching You?: An Exploration of the Bigfoot Phenomenon in the Pacific Northwest by Linda Coil Suchy.
…was placed in charge of one pile of dead animals in particular. The pile was covered and no one was allowed to come near it. Armed U.S. National Guard personnel were guarding this pile. On the day that they were going to move this group of bodies, [Bradshaw] was standing very close to the pile and was told to keep his mouth closed about what we was to witness.
When the tarps were removed, he was amazed to see that the bodies were those of sasquatch. Some badly burned, and some not. They were placed in a large net and lifted into the back of a truck, which was then tarped over.
Freedom on Information Acts were filed to see if there was an official report, the response was quite predictable and uninformative.
“there were no documented reports of big foot [sic] or sasquatch carcasses and there were no projects to attempt to locate and/or recover any bodies.”
Another report, also from the same book claims a man in Spokane saw a large, double rotor helicopter (most likely an Army Chinook) fly overhead at between 100 to 150 feet. The helecopter was carrying a cargo net that contained at least three dead Bigfoot bodies. The bodies were described as hairy, grey ash coated arms and legs.
Well that is weird.
I originally saw a comment on a Bigfoot FaceBook Group concerning a sighting in WA State. I left a comment with the WashingtonBigfoot url and got this report within a day.
on 16 June 2017 at approximately 7:30 p.m.. I was helping my son move from a rental house in the forest area west of Morton, south of the Tilton river. As we were loading the pick up truck I observed a figure standing approximately 40 feet away from us in the trees watching us. I could see that it was a black silhouette approximately 9 feet tall. I could see the head and the head appeared to have a no neck look. I could see the arms down to its side away from the body. I could see no legs below the waist area due to the brush. It was there for several minutes, then appeared to leave. But I seen where it looked like it turned sideways against the trees. I went out there the next day at the same time and looked in the same area I had a clear view through the trees for about 60 feet back. With no obstructions. I could not see that far back when I seen the bigfoot.
The area west of Morton is connected to part of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The area is also known for a bigfoot sighting in the early 90’s by Annette Crews.
A Washington State Fisheries Employee’s story of an encounter with Bigfoot east of Amboy, Washington. Amboy is southwest of Mt St Helens in Clark County.
The frightening story includes the person’s tent being dragged and the face to face encounter with the Bigfoot.
This thing, Bigfoot I figured out at that moment was huge, at least all of 9-feet, and looked to weigh more than 500 or so pounds at least.
The shoulders were at least 4-feet wide, no joke. It was hard to look directly at this thing, I have to tell you, I just wanted to look away and hope for the best. But I did have my flashlight on it, and I was not going to move it.
I do remember that it was only human-like in the stature, I mean it was on two feet except when it went to charge me. The eyes were large, and the hair covered its entire body, even most of its face except around its eyes.
No neck that I could see and the head just sat on top of his shoulders and seemed to be slightly cone shaped on top.
I could not tell the exact hair color, but I think it was a reddish-brown, I think, but I can’t be sure, I was far too scared to really notice the color to tell you the truth.
It had canines when it screamed, I could see them and feel the sound wave hit me like a truck! That is when I really got scared, those teeth would tear me in half in a second if the long muscular arms did not first.
Kelly Shaw of the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization retells his Grandfather’s Bigfoot story from the 1930s.
Kelly’s Grandfather encountered three Sasquatch near a lake that was destroyed in the Mount St Helens eruptions in 1980. The three Bigfoot were seen by multiple people in their group.
